Autumn Winter Makeup 2009 season

As in clothing and fashion, makeup trends always change in the different season, and what better than taking a look to the New York runaways, that will set the look of this autumn winter season. When temperatures go colder, and the winter winds start to blow, there is nothing better than painting our lips with a beautiful red colour, wine, berry or its different shades. Will be a pity not to take advantage of this new trend of winter makeup 2009, and to increase our gloss and colour our lips. Is a very sexy and classy make up. In spite of that natural look is still on vogue, new trends of makeup propose us some colour touches for bringing out our feminine features. The idea is to create a clean style that brings out the look with well defined eyebrows, and provocative shades on lips like passion red to coral.

There are too many different shades of red, each one appropriate for the skin colour. Pure red is better looking on white skin. Women with white skin can also choose shades in pink or plumb. For darker skin colours, you can try warm shades, although some gloss in the upper lip. Try not to use too much dark in your eyes. For medium skin colours, avoid any orange. The shades between berry or cherry will look perfect.

Specialist says that we also have to consider, the shape of our lips, so if we have skinny lips, we should try lighter colours, and if we have them thick, we may choose darker and deep colours.

Related to the rest of makeup, you will just need a little of foundation, remember always to try it on your hand, for getting a "natural" look, a delicate eyeliner touch and one eyelash mascara layer.

So we will remember for this season:

  • Makeup foundation: Super light for a brighter skin and natural look
  • Face powder: Essential for makeup retouching but always with moderation and taking care that matches with your natural skin colour.
  • Blush: Peach for a healthier and fresh look.
  • Eye Shadows: Smoked style with green, blue and cooper.
  • Eyeliner: Liquid and black for a feline look
  • Eye lasher mascara: Always needed.
  • Lipstick: All red shades, from wine to coral.

Is very important that you will have to balance asymmetrically lips and eyes, meaning, that if you are wearing marked colours in your eyes, you should make up your links with brighter colours, and if you want your lips with some red intense shades, then compensate with a cleaner look for avoiding excess.
